MY BACKGROUND
In 2014, I started my journey as a marketer while doing a school project without even realising how much I love getting involved in business decisions and innovative ideas. The journey till today has been more about exploring and less about settling.
Being an English Literature graduate and an admirer of technology, I have a connection with both and I understand that for a good marketer it is quite essential to understand the significance of creatives as well as data, for flourishing any business.

Today, with an enthusiasm for branding, digital media and market research, I have made myself well versed with social media management, data analysis, marketing strategies and maintaining communication and relationships with clients and customers. My short term goal is to work on complex situations, learn and grow in the tech industry as a Marketing/Growth manager. As an optimistic and self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills, I have the breadth and depth to make sound marketing decisions for substantial growth in business. I am excited to see what comes next in my journey!

What: With a group of four efficient teammates, we decided to create an effective marketing plan for an innovative idea related to your very own basic umbrellas, leading the whole project to community welfare and enhanced technology. The best and the most crucial part was to collect market related information and to analyse it for deep insightful information for product, design, development and market needs.

How: The main complexity was the real time data retrieval. I managed to conduct online and offline surveys for the usage of umbrellas within my college as well as my locality and professionally communicated with the vendors and manufacturers within the city. Usage of social media, data representation tools, research and communication skills were the must in this whole process. ​

Results: The whole research and real time data helped our team to plan and promote our product in the best possible way. As a conclusion we derived that, it was more about replacing an old one with our new Snug Up product than targeting a whole new set of users. We planned to give discounts on purchase of a Snug Up umbrella when people gave their old umbrella's in return. The whole idea was to sell the old ones for recycle and donate the money for the organizations which support homeless youths. This will both lead to community welfare and will also let the customer experience the joy of having one more technologically enhanced and useful product in their hand.
